Vinyl fascia installation instructions.

Fascia for installations without soffit 1 nail undersill trim or drip edge in place along the top of the fascia board. Push the top edge into the undersill trim as shown in illustration 1 or behind drip edge. Determine the preferred method of installing soffit at the fascia board. 2 hook the bottom of the fascia panel under the bottom of the fascia board.

Prepare for installation of fascia panel by apply ing undersill trim along the top of the fascia board. The fascia is nailed to the ends of the roof rafters and is used to attach a gutter to the roof. When installing j channel at either the wall or the fascia board nail the j channel every 12 16. When installing j channel at either wall of fascia board nail every 8 to 12 203mm to 305mm.

Turning a corner if the soffit is to turn a corner cut and install j channel. If the existing soffit is rotted or damaged remove it completely before installing vinyl soffit then use the instructions for open eaves. Line up the bottom edges with the soffit and make sure that all the joints are butted together tight. Begin attaching the vinyl fascia boards beginning on the left hand side of the run or at the top depending upon which run you are doing.
