Transit sliding door adjustment.
Check the alignment of the sliding door.
Move the door in whichever direction you feel it needs to be moved up or down are most likely and tighten the bolts with the door in its new position.
If the gap between door and that pillar is too large it should also be too narrow at rear edge of door to move whole of door forwards in its frame support the rear edge of the door mark around the centre roller where it sits on door loosen the mounting bolts to door tx40 i think move the roller towards rear of van then tighten bolts this will push door forwards in closed position.
Loosen the mounting bolts with a socket wrench on one side of the hinge either the door side or the body side.
If the door becomes even harder to open turn the screw in the opposite direction.
Make estimates of the adjustment required while the door is 1 2 open get a helper if needed and keep at it.
Step 3 check the door s new position.
Door open warning from sliding door.
When i lock the doors with the light on it closes but the lights stay on and the horn goes off.
Not worth adjusting while closed you have to fight against the doors seals and it s just too much work.
